Kindergarten Teachers

Ms. Rausch

My name is Allison Rausch and this is my sixth year teaching at Jose De Diego. I went to college at DePauw University in Indiana where I played soccer. My years as a DePauw Tiger taught me the importance of hard work and determination. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Reading.

My first year at Diego I taught a fantastic group of fifth graders. Since then I have been teaching kindergarten and absolutely love it! I look forward to a wonderful school year!

Ms. Santa Cruz

My name is Ms. Santa Cruz. This is my 21st year here at De Diego. During these years I taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, kindergarten and served as the Bilingual Coordinator and the Pull Out teacher for English Language Learners. This year I have the pleasure to be the teacher of the kindergarten children in room 101.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and the Master’s degree in Education from Loyola University. I also have an endorsement in English as a Second Language and the Bilingual Approval from the Governor’s State University and National Louis University.  I hope to make a difference in the life of these young children.
